This policy covers this website and IronWire Admin, the workplace application IronWireRepair provides to businesses. IronWireRepair is the operator; contact ironwirerepair@gmail.com with any question about it.
This website
These pages are static. There are no cookies, no analytics, no trackers and no advertising. Nothing is collected when you read them.
Who IronWire Admin is for
IronWire Admin is used by staff at businesses that hire us. If you are using it, your employer decided to use it and controls who has an account. Questions about why your employer uses it, or what they can see, are best asked of them.
What IronWire Admin collects
When you sign in with Google, we receive and store:
- your name
- your email address
- your Google profile picture
That is the whole of what Google shares with us. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, calendar or any other Google service, and we cannot read them.
The application also records the work you do in it — which tasks you completed and when, notes you write, and similar activity. That record exists so your employer has an accurate history of what happened at their business.
How it is used
To sign you in, to show your name against the work you did, and to send you notifications your employer has configured. Nothing else. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train anything.
Our use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Where it is stored
Each business gets its own separate database on a server IronWireRepair operates, hosted with DigitalOcean in the United States. One business cannot see another's data, because the data is not in a shared system. Encrypted backups are kept with Cloudflare R2.
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to the servers is restricted to IronWireRepair.
Who else sees it
Administrators at your own employer. IronWireRepair staff, when maintaining or supporting the system. Our hosting providers, named above, which store the data on our behalf and do not use it for anything else. No one else, unless the law requires it.
How long it is kept
Account information is kept while your employer keeps your account active. When an account is closed, the sign-in details are removed, though the record of work already done remains as part of your employer's business history. If your employer ends their relationship with IronWireRepair, their data is exported to them and removed from our systems.
Your choices
You can remove IronWire Admin's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account permissions page. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing ironwirerepair@gmail.com. Where the request concerns your employer's records, we will refer it to them, since it is their business history.
Children
IronWire Admin is a workplace tool and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly create accounts for children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and we will tell the businesses using IronWire Admin directly.
